Read-Aloud

For right now, Aidan and Keith are listening to the same read-aloud. I am not sure when I will read chapter books with Aidan alone. We are currently reading Pipi Longstocking Goes Aboard. Keith and I read the first book and Aidan joined us on the second. We either read a chapter at the end of our school time or at night after Nathan goes to bed.

Science

For science, we are reading through the chapter books of the Magic School Bus. Right now, we are reading about tornadoes. I also pick up some other books on the topic as well typically from the non-fiction section.

No more training wheels

Ricky took Keith's training wheels off yesterday. He is doing a great job, but still leans too far when riding since he was used to the trainers being there. He has only taken one big fall, but with his pants and big jacket (it is COLD) he hasn't been skinned up.

And so it begins

This is going to be a place set up for me to record my thoughts on the days of my family especially our homeschool. I will probably start with things I am planning to do and soon add weekly updates on our days. I am not much of a writer and so there will not be a lot of pondering, mainly recording for my own benefit. I am however always open to others' ideas and suggestions.

God bless,
Michelle
